Adwatch: Styled To Rock (Sky Living HD)
There’s a new fashion show on the loose and Rihanna’s at the helm, along with, er, Nicola Roberts, who isn’t exactly lauded for her ability to pick clothes that make her look good. But they’re quirky popstars, so who cares, right? Exactly.
If you’ve got Sky Living HD, from Tuesday 14 August at 9pm, you’ll get to see the diminutive Barbadian popstar and her cohorts start their quest looking for the next Primark designer, or something. “I want something that’s fresh, original…I’m looking for the next trend setting designer,” says Rihanna in the ad, while definitely not reading from an autocue.
If you do end up watching and want to experience something like it in real life, we suggest lassoing some Goldsmith university students, marching them down to a vintage boutique in Shoreditch and asking them to see how many layers of old jumpers they can fit on a mannequin.
